This collection pays homage to the great Robert Frank and chronicles a 21st century American experience, reflecting our shared journey and the individual pursuit of dreams. From the farmer to the hip-hop artist to the children of immigrants, we are all traveling our own path, but we are sharing the same road together. The title is represented visually in the red, white, and blue color palette, and the hard light and deep blacks connect the photographs through tone as well as theme. All of the images were made following the photojournalism code of ethics, so there has been no manipulation of the subject or of the image in post production other than minor adjustments to exposure, white balance, and contrast.
